Welcome

Hello!

Charleston, West Virginia is a very special place with so much to offer its residents.  Likewise, the Charleston Chapter is a very special group of people who come from area neighborhoods to meet regularly and improve ourselves and our community by becoming the best we can be.

The Charleston Chapter, since being chartered in 1945, has provided a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for its Members.  Throughout the years, the Chapter has provided extensive education and guidance opportunities to its Members.

IAAP provides its Members the vehicle to develop and utilize their leadership potential; especially those who step forward and serve as committee chair, board member, and even president.  Since becoming a Member and having served in various leadership roles in the Chapter, I know learning to lead takes courage and fortitude.  IAAP has encouraged me to own my profession and to inspire other admins that they are professionals.  Remember, your job title does not define what kind of professional you can be!

As the Charleston Chapter President, and on behalf of its Members, I encourage you to attend our meetings to learn what we are all about.  Membership is open to all administrative professionals seeking to enhance their career and increase their knowledge in their profession.

Visit one of our meetings soon so you can see firsthand how we are Making the Leap to Remarkable!
