Greetings!
Charleston, West Virginia is a very special place with so much to offer its residents. Likewise, the Charleston Chapter is a very special group of people who come from area neighborhoods to meet regularly and improve ourselves and our community by becoming the best we can be.
The Charleston Chapter, since being chartered in 1945, has provided a friendly, welcome atmosphere for its Members. Throughout the years, the Chapter has provided extensive educational and guidance opportunities to its Members.
Leadership is just one of the many attributes IAAP Members attain; especially those who step forward and serve as committee chair, board member, and even president. Since becoming a Member in 2004 and having served in various leadership roles within the Chapter, I know learning to lead takes courage and fortitude. I believe, however, I am a better person, better employee, and stronger individual for having taken on these positions.
As the Charleston Chapter President, and on behalf of its Members, I encourage you to attend our meetings to learn what we are all about. Membership is open to all administrative professionals seeking to enhance their career and increase their knowledge in their profession.
Visit one of our meetings soon so you can see firsthand the Power of Commitment!
Kelley C. Fluharty, CPS/CAP
2010-2011 President
